Kevin is responsible for creating and executing the strategy for day-to-day operational activities and processes. With over 25 years of experience in investment management, including the last 10 in executive roles, Kevin has had success implementing processes and controls over trading and trade operations, creating and enhancing a strong technological platform and cyber-security posture, and building finance teams focused on data and analytics to drive decision-making and company growth.
Prior to joining Heron Bay Capital Management, Kevin was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Clarkston Capital Management, LLC. At Clarkston, Kevin was responsible for all day-to-day operating activities of the firm, including anything related to cyber security & business continuity, building repeatable and efficient operational process and hiring, training and retaining a sophisticated staff of colleagues. Prior to Clarkston, Kevin spent 24 years at Munder Capital Management, LLC. At Munder, Kevin was the Director of Finance and Accounting with oversight over the finances of the company and evaluating internal controls in support of the company’s SOC1. Prior to Munder, Kevin was a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen.

What kind of situations bring out the best in you?
I enjoy fast-paced and high-pressure situations where there is a lot going on. I tend to be able to quickly sift through the noise to get to the really important factors in making decisions and establishing a plan. I let analytical support guide decision making, with a little help from intuition, and keep emotional or other volatility at bay. Heron Bay provides a great opportunity for someone with my traits. Younger, fast-growing companies offer plenty of opportunity to build and enhance the foundation of the company, create processes and make decisions that will impact the firm years down the road.
